Our Sunrise Summit experience combines an easy-paced road and trail run with one of the city's most breathtaking views. We'll run together, climb together, pause to take in the sunrise and enjoy plenty of photo opportunities before making our way back into the city.
It's an early start - but one you'll never forget.
Perfect for: Early risers, adventure seekers and anyone wanting to experience Edinburgh at its quietest and most beautiful.
Trail shoes are recommended but not necessary.
Essential Edinburgh 5K

Whether you're visiting Edinburgh for the first time or rediscovering the city you call home, the Essential Edinburgh 5K is designed to show you the very best of the capital on foot.
We'll take in famous landmarks, tucked-away streets, beautiful viewpoints and local recommendations, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photo's along the way. No rushing, no pressure - just a relaxed run through one of the world's most beautiful cities.
Perfect for: Visitors, solo travellers, couples and locals looking for a different way to experience Edinburgh.
Coffee Club
Because the run doesn’t have to end when Strava stops.
Our optional Coffee Club is the perfect way to round off your Pace and Place experience.
After the run, we'll head to one of our favourite cafes to enjoy a drink (hot or iced!) and continue the conversation. It's a chance to relax, ask for local recommendations, meet fellow runners and soak up the atmosphere before heading off to explore more of the city.
Whether you're travelling solo or with friends, it's often where the best conversations happen.
